The high school cheerleaders will instruct cheer clinic attendees on cheers, chants and a dance that will be put together for a great pre-game show before the varsity football game on Friday, October 9th.
To accommodate our growing community, this year's practice will be held in two sessions depending on your student's grade:
Preschool-Kindergarten students will practice Wednesday, October 7th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Morris Elementary Gymnasium
1st-2nd Grade students will practice Thursday, October 8th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Morris Elementary Gymnasium
ALL cheer clinic participants will perform together before the Varsity Football Game on Friday, October 9th
The annual cheer clinic is open to any child that resides in the Bondurant-Farrar School District. Cheer clinic participants will receive a small snack of goldfish crackers and water during practice.
On Thursday, October 8th, Anderson Elementary 2nd grade students will be walked over to the Morris Elementary Gym by a cheerleading coach directly after school to attend the clinic.
Parents, please park and wait in the south parking lot (gymnasium entrance) of Morris Elementary for pickup at 5:00. Helpers will assist picking up your cheerleader from the exit door. For the safety of all spirit clinic participants, parents will need to wait outside for your student for pick-up following the same pick-up process as regular school dismissal.
Performance Information: The spirit clinic cheerleaders will join the high school cheerleaders on the track of the Bondurant-Farrar High School Football Field for a performance on Friday, October 9th before the varsity football game! We will have lots of cheerleaders and coaches there to help guide your cheer clinic cheerleader to the correct group (sorted by grade level). Admission is free for cheer clinic participants, but parents and cheer clinic fans will need to purchase admission to the football game at the stadium entrance. The cheer clinic attendees will join together with the high school cheerleaders to perform the cheers, chants and dance that they learned during the clinic for everyone in attendance of the varsity football game.
The Registration Fee is $25.00 and includes a cheerleading t-shirt and cheer bow!
An email will be sent to all families registered to attend cheer clinic with practice reminders, performance information and FAQs after registration closes.
